Merchandising & Planning Manager - Other (Surat)

Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Merchandising & Planning Manager with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing product assortments, inventory levels, and visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and effective planning techniques, leveraging a technical background from an M.Tech degree to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product assortment expansion and optimization.

Develop and execute strategic merchandise plans, including assortment planning, pricing, and promotional activities, aligned with business objectives.

Manage inventory levels across channels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring optimal stock turnover.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure effective execution of merchandising strategies.

Monitor and report on key merchandising KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to forecast demand and optimize product placement and visual merchandising.

Contribute to the development of long-term merchandising strategies and plans.
