Job Description
HAL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Metallurgist with 3-5 years of experience and an LLM degree to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of metallurgical principles and their application in the aerospace industry, coupled with specialized knowledge in legal aspects pertaining to materials and manufacturing. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct metallurgical analysis and failure investigations for aircraft components, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Interpret and apply aerospace material specifications, standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM), and regulatory requirements.
Review and advise on contractual obligations related to material procurement, processing, and intellectual property, leveraging LLM expertise.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and documentation, ensuring legal compliance.
Collaborate with legal and engineering teams to resolve material-related disputes and ensure compliance with patent and licensing agreements.
Stay updated on evolving material science, aerospace regulations, and relevant legal precedents.
