Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards related to microbial contamination in our infrastructure projects, particularly concerning water quality, soil health, and waste management. This role is crucial for maintaining the ecological integrity and public health aspects of our large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular microbial testing of water sources (potable, wastewater, construction water) and soil samples.
- Analyze and interpret microbial data to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement microbial control plans for construction sites and operational facilities.
- Monitor and assess the impact of construction activities on local microbial ecosystems.
- Ensure adherence to national and international environmental regulations and standards related to microbial contamination.
- Collaborate with engineering and environmental teams to integrate microbial safety into project design and execution.
- Maintain detailed records of testing, analysis, and control measures.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in microbiology and their application in the infrastructure sector.
- Investigate and report on any microbial-related incidents or concerns.
