Microbiologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team in Kochi. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong foundational understanding of microbiological principles and a keen eye for detail, looking to contribute to the quality assurance of medical devices. You will be responsible for performing routine microbiological tests and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished medical devices according to established protocols.
- Prepare and sterilize media, reagents, and equipment for microbiological analysis.
- Perform environmental monitoring of cleanroom facilities and production areas.
- Identify and report any microbial contamination or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed, results obtained, and equipment calibration.
- Assist in the investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in method validation and transfer activities as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
