Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist with 3-4 years of experience to join our R&D and Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have an M.Sc. in Microbiology and a strong understanding of microbial processes relevant to the leather industry. You will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and controlling microbial activity in various stages of leather processing, ensuring product quality and preventing contamination.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, process water, chemicals, and finished leather products.
Develop and validate microbial testing methods specific to leather processing.
Monitor environmental conditions in production areas to prevent microbial contamination.
Investigate microbial spoilage and contamination issues, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all testing, analysis, and experimental results.
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to implement microbial control strategies.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial microbiology and its applications in the leather sector.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
