Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our midstream operations team. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient flow of materials, and contributing to the overall success of our food processing operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles within the FMCG or food processing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize holding costs.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient warehousing, material handling, and distribution.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.
- Evaluate and select logistics providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Track and report on key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards in the food processing industry.
- Utilize supply chain software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
