Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Mine Manager with a Doctorate/PhD in a relevant field to oversee and optimize mining operations within our petrochemical and plastics division. This role requires a blend of advanced technical knowledge, strategic planning, and leadership skills to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible extraction of raw materials. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience post-doctorate, demonstrating a strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive mining plans and strategies to meet production targets and quality standards for petrochemical feedstock.
- Conduct advanced geological surveys, resource estimation, and mine design using state-of-the-art modeling software.
- Oversee day-to-day mining activities, including drilling, blasting, excavation, and material handling, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental protocols.
- Manage and mentor a team of geologists, engineers, and mine workers, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor operational performance, analyze data, and identify areas for optimization to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Ensure adherence to all local and national mining laws, environmental regulations, and corporate policies.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to explore innovative mining techniques and technologies.
- Manage procurement of mining equipment and consumables, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Prepare detailed reports on production, safety, environmental impact, and financial performance for senior management.
