We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for geological exploration, resource estimation, and mine planning activities, ensuring efficient and sustainable extraction of mineral resources. This role requires a strong understanding of geological principles, data analysis, and relevant software. While our primary industry is Film/Music/Entertainment, this specialized role is crucial for a unique project involving resource assessment for specialized materials used in our advanced production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological surveys and mapping to identify potential mineral deposits.
- Analyze geological data, including core samples, assay results, and geophysical surveys.
- Develop and implement exploration programs.
- Estimate mineral resources and reserves using industry-standard software and methodologies.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and other stakeholders to develop mine plans and optimize extraction processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for management.
