Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mining Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for geological exploration, resource estimation, and providing technical expertise to support our raw material sourcing operations, particularly for minerals essential to the pulp and paper industry. This role requires a deep understanding of geological principles and their application in resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geological surveys and exploration activities to identify and evaluate mineral deposits.
Develop and implement exploration programs, including drilling, sampling, and assaying.
Perform geological modeling and resource estimation using specialized software.
Analyze geological data to assess the economic viability of mineral deposits.
Collaborate with mining engineers and other stakeholders to optimize resource extraction.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards in all geological operations.
Prepare geological reports, maps, and presentations for management.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in geological exploration techniques and technologies.
