Mining Geologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mining Geologist to join our innovative team. While our core business is in the BFSI sector, we are exploring strategic investments and risk assessments in natural resources and infrastructure projects. This role will be crucial in evaluating geological data, assessing mineral potential, and providing expert geological insights to support our investment decisions and risk management frameworks. You will work closely with our finance and risk analysis teams to ensure sound investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct geological surveys, mapping, and data collection for potential investment sites.
2. Analyze geological data, including core samples, assay results, and geophysical surveys, to assess mineral potential and resource estimation.
3. Prepare detailed geological reports, including resource models and risk assessments, for investment committee review.
4. Collaborate with financial analysts and risk managers to integrate geological findings into financial models and risk mitigation strategies.
5. Evaluate the technical and economic viability of mining projects from a geological perspective.
6. Stay abreast of the latest geological technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices relevant to resource evaluation.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental and safety regulations in geological assessments.
