Role Summary: UPL Limited is seeking a specialized professional to oversee and optimize mining-related operations crucial for our agrochemical production in India. This role will focus on ensuring efficient sourcing of raw materials through mining activities, adhering to environmental regulations, and contributing to the overall supply chain efficiency for our fertilizer and pesticide manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient and sustainable extraction of mineral resources required for agrochemical production.
- Oversee all aspects of mining operations, including exploration, extraction, processing, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian mining laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage relationships with mining contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new mining projects or expansions.
- Monitor and control operational costs, aiming for maximum efficiency and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure the quality and timely availability of raw materials.
