Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Surveyor to join our team. The Mining Surveyor will be responsible for conducting accurate land surveys, mapping, and measurements for our mining operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. This role is crucial for resource assessment, mine planning, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting topographical and geological surveys of mining areas.
- Utilizing surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners for precise measurements.
- Preparing detailed maps, plans, and reports of survey findings.
- Monitoring and controlling mine boundaries and excavation progress.
- Ensuring compliance with mining regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with geologists, engineers, and mine managers to provide survey data for mine planning and operations.
- Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring its calibration.
