Molecular Biologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Molecular Biologist to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in applying molecular biology techniques to develop innovative solutions for crop improvement and protection within the agricultural sector. This role involves designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of new products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, conduct, and optimize molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, cloning, and sequencing.
• Develop and validate new molecular markers for trait discovery and breeding programs.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data using bioinformatics tools and statistical methods.
• Contribute to the development of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or gene-edited crops, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Troubleshoot experimental issues and propose solutions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including plant breeders, agronomists, and chemists.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in molecular biology and agricultural biotechnology.
