Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Molecular Biologist with 1-2 years of experience to join our research and development team in Mangalore. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong foundation in molecular biology techniques and an M.Com degree, who is eager to apply their analytical and financial acumen to biological research within the defence and aerospace sector. You will contribute to projects involving the analysis of biological samples and data, potentially for applications in defence, biosecurity, or advanced materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine molecular biology experiments such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and gel electrophoresis.
Assist in the design and execution of experiments related to biological sample analysis.
Maintain detailed laboratory records and document experimental procedures and results.
Utilize analytical skills gained from M.Com to interpret experimental data and contribute to financial projections for research projects.
Contribute to literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in molecular biology and its applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and finance personnel.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
