Role Summary:
SRK Expedition is seeking a highly experienced and certified Mountaineering Instructor to lead and train individuals in mountaineering techniques. This role is crucial for developing robust skill sets in participants, focusing on safety, navigation, and survival in high-altitude and challenging terrains. The instructor will be responsible for curriculum development, practical training sessions, and ensuring the highest safety standards are met during all activities, aligning with the rigorous demands of security and law enforcement training.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions on mountaineering skills including rock climbing, ice climbing, glacier travel, and crevasse rescue.
Develop and implement training modules tailored for participants with backgrounds in law enforcement and security services.
Ensure all training activities adhere to strict safety protocols and risk management procedures.
Provide expert guidance on navigation, map reading, compass use, and GPS technology in remote and challenging environments.
Instruct participants on survival techniques, including shelter building, fire starting, and first aid in extreme conditions.
Assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain and manage all necessary mountaineering equipment.
Lead expeditions and treks, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mountaineering and wilderness survival.
