Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our esteemed medical team. This role is crucial in providing specialized care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. The Neonatologist will be responsible for the medical management and care of critically ill infants.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of neonatal conditions, including prematurity, birth defects, infections, and congenital abnormalities.
Provide intensive care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Perform diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, and blood tests.
Manage ventilators and other life support equipment for premature and ill infants.
Consult with other medical specialists, including pediatric surgeons, cardiologists, and neurologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate and counsel parents on the care of their newborns, including feeding, growth, and follow-up appointments.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in neonatology and implement evidence-based practices.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
