Network Architect

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic team at Morphogenesis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, with a focus on supporting the unique technological needs of an architecture and interior design firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable network solutions, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards.
- Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into network designs.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.
- Manage network projects, including planning, execution, and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers.
