Network Engineer - Retail Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our extensive retail network infrastructure across multiple countries. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and the ability to support a high-volume, mission-critical retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and new technology deployments.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
