Network Engineer - Switching & Routing

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with expertise in switching and routing to join our growing IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will play a crucial role in supporting our digital-first insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise-level network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and maintain routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP).
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize traffic flow and ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner, including hardware and software problems.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new initiatives and ensure network readiness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
