Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Manager / Administrator with 1-2 years of experience to join our IT team at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our computer networks, ensuring smooth operation and connectivity for all users. This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree and a foundational understanding of network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal uptime and connectivity.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
