Network Security Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure to protect our corporate assets and sensitive data from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security technologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and web application firewalls (WAFs).
- Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Manage and configure security hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network design and implementation for new projects and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support on network security matters to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
