Network Security Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security measures to protect our sensitive patient data and critical infrastructure. You will play a vital role in safeguarding our hospital network against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), VPNs, and other security technologies.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and data privacy laws.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the network infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
