Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network (Support) Engineer with 4-6 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our IT infrastructure team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our corporate network, providing critical support to our pharmaceutical and life sciences operations. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing network solutions that align with business needs and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2/3 support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and problems in a timely manner, minimizing business impact.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including network operating systems and security protocols.
Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other systems.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in network design and capacity planning to support future business growth.
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.
