Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network (Support) Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of network services across all our Indian operations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal connectivity and speed.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for network-related incidents and requests.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
- Perform regular network maintenance, including software upgrades and patch management.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in network design and capacity planning.
