Neuromonitoring Technician

Role Summary: The Neuromonitoring Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining neuromonitoring equipment to assist in the assessment and rehabilitation of athletes. This role requires a strong understanding of neurological functions and their application in sports performance and recovery. You will work closely with sports scientists and medical staff to ensure optimal athlete well-being and performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage neuromonitoring equipment (e.g., EEG, EMG, NIRS) during training and recovery sessions.

Assist in data collection and analysis related to athlete neurological responses.

Ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.

Collaborate with sports scientists, physiotherapists, and coaches to interpret data and provide insights.

Educate athletes and staff on the principles and benefits of neuromonitoring.

Maintain accurate records of all monitoring sessions and findings.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in neuromonitoring technology and sports science.
