Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuromonitoring Technician to join our innovative biotechnology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining neuromonitoring equipment during surgical procedures, ensuring the integrity of neurophysiological data, and assisting surgeons and neurologists in interpreting results. This role requires a strong understanding of neurophysiology and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) procedures, including electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EPs), and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain neuromonitoring equipment and supplies.
- Record and document physiological data accurately during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, neurologists, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and data acquisition.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neuromonitoring techniques and technologies.
