Neuromonitoring Technician

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuromonitoring Technician to join our innovative team. This role involves providing real-time intraoperative neuromonitoring services to support surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The technician will work closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, and other surgical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) procedures, including electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EPs), and electromyography (EMG).
• Set up and calibrate neuromonitoring equipment before and during surgical procedures.
• Monitor physiological data and identify any significant changes or abnormalities.
• Communicate critical findings and potential risks to the surgical team in a clear and concise manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in neuromonitoring.
