Neuropsychiatrist - Chandigarh

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neuropsychiatrist to join our esteemed medical team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, with a strong foundation in both psychiatric and neurological conditions. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders and neurological conditions affecting cognition, behavior, and emotion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and neurological assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of psychiatric and neurological disorders, such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease with cognitive impairment, epilepsy with behavioral changes, stroke-related cognitive deficits, traumatic brain injury, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Interpret and integrate findings from neuroimaging (MRI, CT), electroencephalography (EEG), and neuropsychological testing.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neuropsychiatry and contribute to the improvement of clinical practices.
