Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Vedanta Resources Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our employees within our mining and processing facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate first aid and medical care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records.
- Advise management on occupational health hazards and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian health and safety legislation.
- Collaborate with safety officers and other stakeholders to create a safe working environment.
