Occupational Health Physician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team at Reliance Industries Limited. This role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce, particularly those involved in our petrochemical and plastics manufacturing operations. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, including pre-employment and periodic medical examinations, health surveillance, and managing work-related illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations for employees.
• Develop and implement health surveillance programs tailored to the risks associated with petrochemical and plastics manufacturing environments.
• Diagnose and manage occupational illnesses and injuries, providing appropriate treatment and referrals.
• Advise management on health and safety issues, including risk assessments, workplace ergonomics, and exposure control.
• Provide health education and promotion programs to employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations in India.
• Collaborate with HR, safety officers, and other departments to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
