Role Summary:
Nestlé India is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Health Physician with a specialization or significant focus in Orthopedics to join our Corporate Health Services team. This role will be instrumental in promoting the musculoskeletal health and well-being of our employees within the food processing industry environment. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) and providing comprehensive orthopedic care to our workforce, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and post-employment medical examinations with a focus on musculoskeletal health.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, degenerative joint diseases, fractures, and sprains, relevant to occupational settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medication, recommending physical therapy, and advising on ergonomic adjustments.
• Provide expert advice on the prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) through ergonomic assessments, safety training, and health promotion programs tailored for the food processing industry.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety Officers, and Production Managers to address workplace health and safety concerns related to physical demands.
• Manage acute orthopedic injuries occurring at the workplace, including initial assessment, stabilization, and referral when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with company policies and medical regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine and occupational health practices.
