Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Officer to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees at our manufacturing facilities. The OHS Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs and policies in compliance with relevant Indian regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement OHS policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the electronics manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable OHS legislation, standards, and regulations in India (e.g., Factories Act, MSIHC Rules).
- Organize and conduct OHS training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain OHS records, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, emergency services, and external OHS consultants as needed.
- Manage the provision and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
