Occupational Health & Safety Officer

Role Summary: The Occupational Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees at our manufacturing facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment, hazard control, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive OHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian OHS regulations and company standards.
- Organize and deliver OHS training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain OHS records and prepare regular reports for management.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies and safety auditors.
- Develop and manage emergency response plans.
- Monitor and advise on the safe use of machinery and equipment.
