Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and diligent Occupational Health & Safety Officer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree and be committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within our petrochemical operations. This role involves implementing and monitoring OHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting safety awareness among employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of OHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation of preventive measures.
- Develop and deliver OHS training programs to employees at all levels.
- Maintain OHS records, including accident reports, inspection logs, and training documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national and local OHS regulations.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Monitor workplace conditions for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Support the OHS team in day-to-day operations and special projects.
