Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our innovative healthcare technology startup. While our primary focus is on design and user experience for medical devices, this role is crucial for providing expert clinical insights and guidance to our product development teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our designs and technologies align with the needs of cancer patients and healthcare providers, ultimately improving treatment outcomes and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical consultation on oncology, including diagnosis, treatment modalities (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy), and patient management.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and UX researchers to inform the design and development of medical devices and software related to cancer care.
- Review and validate the clinical accuracy and usability of product prototypes and features.
- Contribute to the development of clinical use cases and user journey maps for oncology-related products.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in oncology research, treatment protocols, and medical technology.
- Advise on regulatory requirements and clinical trial design relevant to oncology devices.
- Participate in user testing and gather feedback from healthcare professionals and patients.
- Contribute to educational materials and training programs for healthcare providers using our products.
- Ensure that product development aligns with ethical considerations and best practices in cancer care.
