Opening for Chief Accountant | Corporate

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Chief Accountant to join our corporate finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience and a postgraduate degree, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices in the Indian context. This role is crucial for managing the financial operations and ensuring compliance within our dynamic printing and publishing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and relevant tax regulations (GST, Income Tax).

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Manage and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
