Opening for Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) | ONGC

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to join our dynamic team at ONGC in Indore. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-4 years of experience and a strong foundation in procurement processes, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector. The CPO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services essential for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and procedures in line with ONGC's objectives.

Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.

Identify and onboard reliable suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to achieve cost savings and optimize procurement strategies.

Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

Ensure adherence to ethical business practices and anti-corruption policies in all procurement dealings.

Utilize IT systems and software for procurement management and reporting.
