Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with 1-3 years of experience to join our corporate team. The CRO will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, financial analysis, and the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and policies.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in operational, financial, and strategic areas.
Monitor and analyze risk exposures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in risk management.
