Opening for Collection Executive / Officer | 3-5 Yrs | Startup

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Collection Executive / Officer to join our growing team at Udaan India Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing collection activities to ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues, contributing to the financial stability of our organization. This position is ideal for an individual with 3-5 years of experience in collections and a strong understanding of debt recovery processes, who is looking to make a significant impact in the social sector. A graduate degree is not mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and other communication channels to discuss outstanding payments.

Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, including debtor interactions, payment arrangements, and follow-up actions.

Prepare regular reports on collection status, outstanding amounts, and recovery rates for management review.

Identify and escalate complex collection cases to the appropriate internal departments or external agencies.

Assist in developing and implementing effective collection strategies to minimize delinquency.

Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines in collection practices.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve debtor queries and disputes efficiently.
