Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Data / Big Data Testing Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a key member of our QA department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data pipelines and big data solutions within the retail sector. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, data structures, and a B.Sc degree in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data applications.
- Perform data validation, data integrity checks, and data quality testing on large datasets.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for big data solutions.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability.
- Work with various big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, etc.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of data systems through rigorous testing.
