Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a BBA/BBM degree looking to launch a career in IT support within the manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop environment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related problems, including operating system issues, application errors, and connectivity problems.
- Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
- Assist in the management of IT assets and inventory.
- Document technical procedures and solutions.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and security best practices.
