Opening for Dock Master | 3-5 Yrs

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and diligent Dock Master with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The Dock Master will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities within the port/terminal area, ensuring efficient and safe movement of vessels, cargo, and personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations, safety protocols, and logistics within the petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and control the day-to-day operations of the dock, including vessel berthing, cargo handling, and shore-side logistics.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures during all port operations.

Coordinate with shipping lines, terminal operators, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel turnaround.

Maintain accurate records of vessel movements, cargo statistics, and operational activities.

Supervise and guide dock staff, ensuring efficient performance and proper execution of duties.

Respond promptly to emergencies and implement contingency plans as required.

Conduct regular inspections of docks, equipment, and safety systems.
