Opening for Duty Manager | Oil & Gas

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and legally astute Duty Manager with 3-4 years of experience to oversee daily operations at our Mangalore facility. The ideal candidate will possess an LLB degree and a strong understanding of legal compliance within the Oil & Gas sector. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing on-site personnel, and acting as the primary point of contact for operational and legal matters during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all operational activities during the assigned shift to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Monitor all plant processes and equipment, identifying and reporting any deviations or potential issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Manage and guide the on-site team, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Act as the first point of contact for any emergencies or critical incidents, initiating appropriate response protocols.
- Review and approve operational logs, incident reports, and shift handover documentation.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant Oil & Gas industry regulations, permits, and licenses.
- Liaise with other departments, including legal, maintenance, and safety, to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on operational performance, incidents, and compliance matters.
- Utilize your LLB background to advise on immediate legal implications of operational decisions and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
