Opening for Environmental Consultant | 3-4 Yrs

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Consultant with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc degree and have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and practices within the pulp and paper industry. This role involves assessing environmental impacts, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and existing operations.
- Monitor and analyze environmental parameters such as air quality, water quality, and waste generation.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) to minimize ecological footprint.
- Ensure compliance with national and local environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
- Advise on pollution control technologies and waste management strategies.
- Prepare environmental reports, documentation, and permit applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business processes.
- Stay updated with the latest environmental legislation, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
