Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Officer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance within the infrastructure and urban transport sector. While a law degree is typically required, we are open to candidates with an M.Tech degree who possess exceptional analytical skills, a keen understanding of technical project documentation, and have demonstrated a strong aptitude for legal research and contract review through relevant work experience. This role will be crucial in supporting our ongoing and upcoming urban transport projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, draft, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memorandums of understanding related to urban transport projects.
Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues affecting the company's operations in the urban transport domain.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements relevant to infrastructure projects and corporate governance.
Assist in litigation management, dispute resolution, and the preparation of legal opinions.
Provide legal support to project teams, advising on contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and legal implications of project decisions.
Maintain and organize legal records and documentation.
Stay updated with amendments in relevant laws and regulations impacting the urban transport industry.
