We are seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics / SCM Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic corporate team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree and have a proven track record in optimizing supply chain operations, managing logistics, and driving efficiency within the packaging industry. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless flow of materials and finished goods, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize existing logistics and supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and network design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, procurement) to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on logistics and supply chain performance.
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
