We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Physical Design / Layout Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our corporate team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical layout and design of our manufacturing processes and facilities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal resource utilization. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and CAD tools, suitable for individuals holding a B.Tech/B.E. degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize physical layouts for manufacturing lines, workstations, and storage areas using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain) to understand requirements and design effective layouts.
- Ensure layouts comply with safety regulations, ergonomic standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Create detailed drawings, schematics, and documentation for layout proposals and implementation.
- Analyze existing layouts for potential improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in site selection and preparation for new facilities or expansions.
- Troubleshoot layout-related issues during the manufacturing process.
