Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Safety Consulting professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical safety, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies within the Indian regulatory framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, R&D labs, and storage areas.
- Develop and implement safety management systems in accordance with national and international standards.
- Perform hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and root cause analysis for incidents and near misses.
- Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Stay updated on evolving safety regulations and legislation relevant to the agrochemical industry in India.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Production, Operations) to integrate safety into all aspects of business.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal reviews.
- Advise on the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Contribute to the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
