Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores & Material Management Associate. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent B.Pharma graduate looking to gain practical experience in managing inventory, procurement, and logistics within the petrochemical sector. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder needs to prevent stockouts.
- Support the procurement process by preparing purchase requisitions and liaising with suppliers.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse/storage area for cleanliness and accessibility.
- Participate in regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and material handling procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements.
- Process material requisitions and issue materials to internal departments.
- Learn and apply principles of material management in a fast-paced industrial environment.
