Role Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Venture Capital Investor with 0-1 years of experience to join our dynamic investment team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with an M.A. who is passionate about the EdTech sector and eager to contribute to identifying and nurturing promising startups within the Indian market. You will support senior investment professionals in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and managing portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of potential investment opportunities within the EdTech and broader startup ecosystem in India.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis for emerging trends and sectors.
- Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on target companies.
- Support the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Assist in monitoring the performance of existing portfolio companies and provide ongoing support.
- Engage with founders and management teams of startups to understand their business models and growth strategies.
- Contribute to the development of investment theses and strategy for the fund.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the venture capital landscape.
